Surprise! We’re finally writing about a local film on the blog! And what’s the perfect film to write about to kick-off our local film content? No other than a film from the foremost Filipino film production and distribution outfit, Star Cinema. Not to be biased but my favorite Filipino film classics were produced by Star Cinema. And today, Star Cinema is back on the big screen with ‘An Inconvenient Love’ after its 2 year hiatus.
An Inconvenient Love stars one of today’s biggest love teams, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano. If you’ve came across with #DonBelle somewhere online, that’s their very supportive fan group. And yesterday, together with the production team, press/media, bloggers, and some fans, we’re able to watch An Inconvenient Love a day earlier. Without spoiling, here are my top 5 convenient reasons to watch the film just like how we DASUUUURB!

- Socially Relevant
From the struggle of daily commuting, freedom of speech, fighting for your rights, employment opportunities, standing up for what you believe in to dealing with consequences of your social political views. Name it! It’s all there and shows how it affects our quality of life. - Surprisingly Relatable
When I first watched the trailer and got an invite, I thought the story will only revolve around Donny and Belle’s attraction (and love) to each other. A story that will only make you smile and kilig a little just like how I saw them in He’s Into Her. I thought that is all. But I was wrong. I have watched dreamers fights for their dream even if it conflicts with what her parents wants for her, a husband whose trying to provide to his family but always get a hard time to do so, a wife who were cheated on and trying to recover, a mistress trying to believe that she’s actually being loved and so much more. - Visually Impressive
Ayef dreams of becoming an international animator hence this film didn’t fail to show how Filipino films can actually produce good graphics and animations. I like how it follows what’s in Ayef and Manny’s hearts. - Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano is Born for the Big Screen
It’s my first time watching #DonBelle on the big screen and after watching An Inconvenient Love, I’m actually looking forward on seeing them more on it. The chemistry and the acting skills are on point. At their age, they perfectly delivered that young and fresh, kind of raw acting which I think one of the key ingredients of a feel-good movie. For sure heavy acting in the future will be a piece of cake for them. - Showing in Cinemas Worldwide
What else could be the most convenient reason to watch this film? An Inconvenient Love is available in cinemas not only nationwide but worldwide! Talk about giving our loved ones overseas a chance to watch this out-of-the box love story. Watch now!
