Yaki Yaki’s First Food Truck Opens in UP Diliman
Yaki Yaki is growing with new food options and introduces us to its first ever food truck concept with their UP Diliman branch.
We’re happy to have another food entry in the blog and share you about a personal fave, Yaki Yaki. The first time we tried it, we were very honest that this is a real deal in terms of affordable Japanese yakisoba and takoyaki. And it’s no surprise that this brand has been receiving good feedback since its launch. Now on its 28th branch, they introduces us to its first ever food truck concept with their UP Diliman branch.
As they reposition the brand to further boost its recognition, expect Yaki Yaki to be seen and accessible in most of the universities around the metro. And where else to begin? In the newest food hub inside the University of the Philippines – Diliman. A perfect location that is accessible not only to its students but also to everyone who visits the university as part of their family day or after jogging around the famous Sunken Garden.
What’s New?
Aside from having its first ever food truck, Yaki Yaki don’t disappoint on bringing new offerings on the table. From introducing a combo meal of takoyaki-and-yakisoba-in-one called TakoSoba, they now have a Chicken Katsu Bento Box. As my niece described it, a perfect meal she can enjoy after an exhausting P.E. class. The Chicken Katsu will surely convince you to eat rice even if you’re trying to skip it. For its price, this is a ~* sulit *~ deal that will make you full for sure.
Onto to the next is the Yaki Yaki Ramen. Of course, we cannot compare this with the ramen we can eat from the big ones but this is a good option if you’re a student or in a very tight budget. This is an affordable ramen that is so tasty but not because of salt or MSG. Its broth is creamy and surprisingly that flavorful for its price that you can actually enjoy just like the expensive ones. We like the hint of spice on this one too! Not hot but spicy which compliments with the other flavors in this bowl of goodness.
I don’t know about you but for me, a ramen is more enjoyable when paired with gyoza. And they have it! The classic and the cheesy one which tastes real close to an authentic Japanese gyoza. Just a little different shape and amount of filling but it’s actually good. Definitely a must-try!
Did I convince you now to try Yaki Yaki? I really hope so. Just in case you’re interested, they’re is still open for 3-year franchise package for only Php699k. This includes store construction, marketing, and starting stocks. You may call their franchise hotline anytime, 09567791150 for inquiries.
